Peter Morrison

Peter was our regular Accompanist from 2005 until 2012 and then again in 2015 and 2016.

Peter is a past student of RNCM in Manchester and a was an organ scholar at Liverpool’s RC Cathedral. Since then he has enjoyed playing and teaching in the North West, retiring from Bolton School in 2019 after 17 years.

Peter was awarded the FRCO after some study with Dr. Francis Jackson in York Minster. He is very proud to have played for Pope John Paul II in 1982 and as played at some important venues including both Cathedrals in Liverpool, York Minster and Westminster Cathedral.

Peter was organist of St Marys Church Chorley and is now playing at St Gregorys Weld Bank in Chorley.
